  • spinach (either Bloomsdale or Bordeaux)
  • herbs:  parsley & rosemary

What’s in the Box for Feb. 5 – 8, 2013

In the box this week are:

  • Lacinato or Red Russian kale
  • broccoli Romanesco
  • tender-stem broccoli
  • carrots
  • rapini thinings(1)
  • green garlic(2)
  • arugula
  • lemons
  • herbs:  parsley, rosemary, fennel fronds

Notes:

(1) This is very young rapini – you can use in the same way as adult, or use it to make a pesto.  The farm favorite way to prepare rapini is here on our website.

(2) Green garlic have the same flavor as regular garlic heads, but much milder.  You can use like you would use green onions.
